About Octacosanol

Octacosanol is a compound commonly found in plant wax, an ingredient present on the surfaces of leaves, seeds, fruits, flowers, stems, and more. This compound serves to protect plants from pests and diseases

while also helping to retain moisture. As a result, the composition of plant secretions containing Octacosanol represents a natural defense mechanism.

Octacosanol has been identified as a significant source of endurance, particularly in migratory birds. The ability of migratory birds to traverse vast distances across oceans, continuously flapping their wings for
